-After choosing from either a Prince or a Princess, the one that you didn't choose is locked up in the titular castle. Your mission is not only to liberate your comrade, but also to defeat the great spirit Magister. He can only be beaten if you also vanquish the many spirits throughout the castle, which you will find after solving numerous puzzles. Your arsenal consists entirely of rocks that you throw at the spirits.
It's a slight improvement over Total Eclipse in terms of the engine, but it's very similar: they both involve walking into a big building to solve puzzles. Having said that, it still suffers the same problem as its predecessor in that it looks and plays like something really ancient. It's hard to recommend these games today as the earliest 3D offerings really don't hold up as well as other 2D games.
