The Top 100 lists certainly like to represent not only different game genres, but different types of sports too, with the oft-overlooked game of rugby featuring here.
Outside of a smattering of countries, rugby is not particularly well known, and even in its country of origin, its popularity pales compared to association football. Thus, it doesn't receive a great deal of computer games based on it, despite it being perfectly suited. This game takes the simple route, like many contemporary football games: you won't find in-depth tactics or individual player statistics, you just control a player and pass, run and kick. The thing that sets it apart from a football game is the scrum and receiving a lineout, both of which involve waggling your joystick to win possession. Don't forget to put the ball down to score a try, too.

I'm probably the last person to review a rugby game since it's a sport I know very little about, but even I can grasp this one in about 30 seconds. If you want an old-fashioned simplistic arcade bash of rugger, give this a try, even if there are probably more sophisticated games out there since. It could be a good entrypoint to newbies of the sport.
