Here we have the first of several appearances by the Bitmap Brothers, with arguably their least celebrated title.

Karadoc the dwarf enters Castle Wulf in search of treasure, and eventually to kill a necromancer who lives there. The game plays like other isometric adventures, although there are some differences such as being able to pick up and throw weapons. Starting in the basement of the castle, there are only five levels, but they represent a strong challenge, with a lot of puzzles to solve.

I have to admit to ignoring this one when I got the Bitmap Brother Collection for PC, spending far more time on the other games in the pack and not really bothering with this. I don't know if others did the same, but if you like isometric puzzles (which we've seen once or twice in this list already) then it's certainly got some appeal - and of course, it helps nowadays that you can just watch a walkthrough on YouTube if you get stuck.
