Also released as Great Courts 2, this game sets the standard for tennis action on the Amiga.
We've seen many types of games in the Top 100 lists already, but after several sports games, we finally get one involving tennis. You have the option of a quick friendly match or a full tournament, and the game defaults to Junior mode, in which you don't have to worry about moving your player or timing your serves - the computer does that for you, leaving you with simply getting your shots right. There is also Average mode - giving you a player with average characteristics - and Character mode, which allows you to tailor your strengths and weaknesses to your liking. This latter aspect gives the game more depth than its contemporaries.

It's a very solid tennis game, rivalling one of my favourites of the era, Pete Sampras Tennis on the Sega Mega Drive. Nevertheless, I found playing the computer in a friendly to be extremely difficult, and there doesn't appear to be a difficulty setting to tweak, though I think you can modify the characteristics of the computer player, so that's something. Still, the tournament and two-player option is probably great, so it's still worth playing.
