Defender gets a graphical makeover on the Amiga with Anarchy.
You control a space ship, flying around the screen, and your job is to destroy all of the aliens in an area before you can move on to the next. In addition, you must defend a set of canisters (ten at the beginning) which are lying on the ground - and which the aliens are trying to steal. You have to take care when shooting the aliens as they take off with your precious cargo, as destroying them all will send you to hyper-space, leading inevitably to your demise.

I'll be honest, of all the early 'classic' arcade games, Defender was one that was never able to hook me in. Anarchy doesn't do much to differentiate itself from the basic Defender formula, so I'm equally lukewarm about it. Maybe you like Defender, maybe you'd like a pretty port of it on the Amiga, but I'll give it a pass.
