It's perhaps no surprise that strategy games feature heavily in a list of Amiga games, since mouse input was standard by this point, but here we go again with Realms.
Surprisingly, Realms comes directly after PowerMonger in this list, and has a similar premise. You are in charge of a kingdom, and as such, one of your main duties is tax collection. You use the acquired funds to help your cities by buying food, recruiting armies and building defensive walls. There are other kingdoms to contend with, and they will have no problem with attacking your cities, so using your funds wisely and launching attacks with your own troops is vital. There isn't a great deal of depth to the game, though this can help new players to get accustomed to the style of play.

Another game which I'm not keen on at first because it looks like I need to read a manual to learn the basics, but thankfully the manual is very well written and comes with a basic tutorial to kick things off. Still, it looks like another strategy game that I just don't want to get into right now, but maybe some of you would find it an enticing prospect. It's certainly very accessible to newbies, so at least it's not as maddeningly obtuse as, say, Storm Master.
