The horror continues, indeed, with more aliens to mow down.

The first Alien Breed set the template, and this game doesn't stray far from that. You still have to run around futuristic corridors, shooting respawning aliens and collecting keys. There's not much more to say about it, other than if you liked the first game, you'll like this, as it delivers a very similar experience but gives you even more levels.

Quick note: as with the previous entry, Body Blows, this game comes in both OCS/ECS and AGA flavours, plus a CD32 version bundled with Alien Breed: Tower Assault. The regular version has a more simplified colour palette than its AGA brother, but otherwise retains all the fast action and features. There are some graphical glitches on OCS machines, though, but ECS machines don't appear to be affected (the game was clearly designed with AGA in mind, so maybe they missed the glitches on the older hardware). As for the game, well, read what I said about Alien Breed '92: I'm not a fan. If they could reduce the reliance on keys, and maybe allow for firing in one direction while holding the button, I might enjoy it a bit more, but as it is, I just can't get into it.
