Infiltrate a robot-filled spaceship with a hacker droid.
Andrew Braybrook created Paradroid for the Commodore 64, and it was a unique concept: you pilot a droid around a spaceship, and when faced with enemy robots, you have the choice of shooting them or hacking into them to take control. Paradroid 90 takes the same premise but updates it for the 16-bit machines with a graphical facelift. There is an interesting blend of fast action with careful stealth, as you try to avoid getting zapped by the deadly robots while making progress through the ship.

I have a confession: when I first played this, I had no idea you could take control of other robots. I thought it was just a straight shooter, rather than the much more involved game that it is. Knowing this, I'll definitely be taking a closer look in future, because there's definitely something here to check out.
