It took a while, but eventually the Amiga got something resembling a Zelda-style top-down action RPG. Shame it has such a generic title.
You start the game in the past in a Native American tribe, and you have to explore the landscape, firing arrows at enemies who attack you, and meet people to continue your quest. Later in the game you take control of other characters in different time periods, and the graphics and sound are as smooth as a console RPG of this style. The emphasis is very much on the action rather than the role playing, so it's a refreshing change to the types of games normally found in this list.

You can see below that not only is the game AGA only, it also uses a lot of disks, so your best bet is either WHDLoad or the CD32 version, though the latter doesn't give many benefits besides a CD soundtrack. In all versions, you still have to deal with inexplicable loading times, so I'm not sure what's going on there. The game, though, is definitely worth a look if you like console action RPGs, because (loading times aside) it really looks and feels just like one of those. Of course, the game came out in 1996, a very late entry in the Amiga catalogue, but it certainly deserves its place in the list.
