Digital recreations of pinball were a mere novelty throughout the 80s, but a small company made it serious on the Amiga.
Pinball Dreams is, quite simply, a pinball simulator, with four different tables to play. There isn't much more to say about it, assuming you know what pinball is, but this game is notable for being the first of its kind that managed to successfully recreate the feel of a real pinball table, complete with LED display and the best physics engine that had been seen up to that point. The music, in addition, was a highlight, making good use of the Amiga's sample-based MOD format. The follow-ups in this series will also appear later in the list.

I still remember how big of a deal Pinball Dreams was: being an arcade visitor in the 80s and 90s, pinball machines were always around, but taking that real life machine and porting it to the computer had never really been pulled off effectively until this came along with its awesome music and interesting original table designs. Still worth a look today, because hey, it's pinball.
