Dungeons, warriors, treasure... it could only be an RPG, and one with an uninspiring name.
The game begins on a map of the world which you inhabit, but the bulk of the game takes place in an isometric view, mostly in dungeons and cellars. Your party of four, with different skill sets, must solve puzzles, find treasure, slay enemies and mix spells. The latter is one of the more unusual aspects of the game, allowing you to combine different runes and powders to create a wide variety of magic. The combination of RPG and strategy makes for an intriguing game.

Before talking about the game, I have to mention a problem with the TOSEC disk I've selected below: there's a problem with the very first dungeon room in the Guild, as several objects are missing, making it a little weird to play. The SPS rip and the WHDLoad version, obviously, correct this problem, so play those if you can. As for the game, I'm not a huge fan: the movement is a bit fiddly, and I don't really care for mixing ingredients together to make spells (which can hit your other party members if you're not careful). It's different, though, you have to give it that - and I didn't even get into the strategy aspect of it, so take my words with a grain of salt.

Recommended TOSEC disk(s):
Legend v1.01 (1992-03-17)(Mindscape)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr NMS][f save NMS]
Legend v1.01 (1992-03-17)(Mindscape)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr NMS]
