The last pinball game to feature in this list, it was the first from Digital Illusions to require an AGA chipset, but it's still the same old pinball action nevertheless.
There are only three tables to play in this game, but what it lacks in quantity is made up for in quality. The tables are well designed, but the game also includes a couple of features that were not possible on earlier releases. First, you can choose between a low res (non-interlaced) and high res (interlaced) mode, the latter of which gives you a greater view on most of the playfield, at the expense of some sharpness and smoothness of motion. The second new feature is multiball, common on real life pinball tables, and some video game adaptations.

Pound for pound (or as the review states, 'table for table'), Pinball Illusions may well be the best of its type on the Amiga, which is reflected in its high placement here. Sure, games like Sonic Spinball and Kirby's Pinball Land do a lot with the video game aspect, but if you want an authentic experience on a 16-bit machine, you can't fault this series.
